What is the USCSA Southeast?
The Southeast Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Conference (USCSA Southeast) is the South's outlet for collegiate ski and snowboard competition. Part of the Mid Atlantic region of the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association, the governing body of ski and snowboard racing at the collegiate level, the USCSA Southeast brings competition to the area.
Since its inception in the 1970’s, the USCSA Southeast has been the regional stepping-stone to the USCSA National Championships, which brings together top caliber athletes and Olympic hopefuls from all over the United States and Southern Canada.
Where are USCSA Southeast Competitions?
The USCSA Southeast holds local conference competitions across resorts in Virginia and North Carolina. Resorts we usually travel to are: The USCSA Southeast offers Slalom, Giant Slalom, Snowboard Slalom, Snowboard Giant Slalom, Rail Jam and Slopestyle competitions, held over 5 race weekends from January to February.
Other races held during the season include the Mid Atlantic Regional Championships (Regionals) which alternate between the Southeast, Allegheny, and Atlantic Highlands conferences annually, and the USCSA National Championships (Nationals) which rotates from east to west coast on an annual basis.

The USCSA is the collegiate home for all Colleges and Universities who are not currently competing in an NCAA conference program. There are over 500 member schools nationwide, with competitions in Slalom, Giant Slalom, Snowboard Giant Slalom, Snowboard Slalom, Boarder & Skier Cross, Slopestyle, Rail Jam, Nordic Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Nordic Sprint, and Classic races & relays.
How do I join the USCSA Southeast?
Interested in starting a new team at your school? It’s easy; just contact the USCSA Southeast by sending us an email at [email protected] to find out how. The USCSA Southeast will work with you to make starting a team and joining the USCSA as easy as possible.
Who is eligible to compete?
Any full time undergraduate student of any skill level, from beginners to expert is eligible to participate. The USCSA Southeast also offers restricted memberships to students at the graduate level, depending on past athletic competition. As an intercollegiate athletic program, to participate all members must be eligible under NCAA Division II guidelines. For more information, visit www.uscsa.org

Aside from participating in intercollegiate athletics in action sports such as Alpine/Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding, USCSA Southeast athletes enjoy great benefits such as reduced lift ticket prices and the chance to meet skiers and snowboarders from all over the area.
